How many parishes of the Moscow Church have joined the OCU? Khmelnytska OVA named the latest figures.

According to the Khmelnytsky Regional Military Administration, since August 2024, 20 religious communities in Khmelnytskyi joined the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. This was reported by the publication 'Glavkom' in an article titled 'The law on banning the Moscow Church: and the cart remains as it is. Who is sabotaging the process?'.
According to 'Glavkom', only 20 out of 629 religious organizations of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate switched to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyiv Patriarchate after the law banning the Moscow Church was adopted.
It is worth noting that since the law banning the Moscow Church was passed (May 20, 2025), nine months have already passed. The deadline for religious communities to sever ties with Russia should have ended. However, many communities of the church, which is united with the Moscow Patriarchate, have not changed their statutes and have not complied with the law.
After the nine months are over, what will happen next? More details on this can be read in the article 'The law on banning the Moscow Church: and the cart remains as it is. Who is sabotaging the process?'.
It is also worth mentioning that the Kremlin has appointed new representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church who will promote hostile narratives in Ukraine.
In addition, the Security Service of Ukraine has collected evidence of propaganda by the Kremlin regime by 14 high-ranking Russian clerics in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
