The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine visited the Pokrovsk direction
Lieutenant General Oleksandr Syrskyi, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, personally visited the Pokrovsk direction. There, Russian troops are actively conducting offensive actions and concentrating their forces.
During meetings with brigade commanders at command posts, Syrskyi discussed the specifics of conducting combat operations and addressing urgent issues. Special attention was paid to the 155th Separate Mechanized Brigade.
'The brigade is gradually gaining defined combat capabilities. All negative aspects and difficulties that arose during its deployment in Ukraine have been analyzed, and conclusions have been made,' said the Commander-in-Chief.
According to Syrskyi, in this direction, Ukrainian mechanized and airborne assault brigades, as well as the attack UAV brigade 'Birds of Madyar', effectively hold back the superior enemy forces, successfully destroying the enemy's personnel and equipment.
Syrskyi also thanked international partners, particularly France, which was the first to respond to the request for the creation of a mechanized brigade and fulfilled all its obligations regarding its training and equipping.
The Commander-in-Chief also visited a separate special operations concealment battalion, where he learned about new technological developments being used directly on the battlefield in light of modern warfare challenges. Based on the results of the visit, a decision was made to strengthen the reserves and resources of the units.
