Russians claim that a Ukrainian pilot has surrendered. The Air Force reacted.

Russian propaganda media report that a Ukrainian pilot has been captured in the Kursk region. However, the command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine states that this information is unverified. All Ukrainian pilots continue to perform their duties to defend the country, particularly in the fight against the aggressor.
Representatives of the Air Force assert that the dissemination of hostile messages and videos of interrogations of Ukrainian soldiers who have been captured is part of the information war waged by the enemy. These materials are intended to demoralize Ukrainian forces and influence public opinion both in Ukraine and abroad.
It is reminded that on December 14, a young Ukrainian pilot who was assigned to hot fronts did not return from a combat mission. Also, in August, pilot Oleksiy Mesi was killed during a massive Russian missile and aviation attack.
Earlier it was reported that the F-16 fighter jet provided to Ukraine by allies crashed due to pilot error, not enemy missiles. This occurred during a massive Russian missile strike on August 26.
