Russians in Occupied Donbas Filmed a Miniseries about 'Ukrainian Zombie Apocalypse'.

In the occupied territories of Ukraine, in the so-called DNR, Russian propagandists have filmed a new series called 'Pomchali'. According to director Volodymyr Agranovych, who has been informed by the Security Service of Ukraine about suspicion of information collaboration with the occupiers, this is 'a love story in the format of a road adventure', combining comedy and horror. The director spreads false information regarding the shelling of the occupied territory by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, making it yet another tool for manipulation and humiliation of Ukrainians. This has been reported by 'Hlavkom' with reference to the director's social media.
The filming of the 'series' took place in the cities of the occupied territories of Ukraine, involving local actors. The series will even feature characters from the previous propaganda 'masterpiece' - 'Reservists', who will now save humanity from zombies. Perhaps this is symbolic, as zombies are the perfect image to describe Russian propaganda: mindless, aggressive, and ruthless.
Ruined cities under Russian occupation remain without real attempts at restoration, and instead of investing resources in rebuilding devastated cities and helping people, they shoot series that seek to justify the occupation. The cynicism that such 'creations' are filmed on land that belongs to Ukraine and are used to humiliate Ukrainians is striking.
According to investigative data, Agranovych began filming series, films, and reports in collaboration with the occupying administration of the Donetsk region as a director and writer from March to April 2022. In them, he supports the onset of Russia's full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine.
In the spring of 2022, the individual created a public Telegram channel 'Vladimir Agranovych'. In posts there, he also supports the actions of Russians regarding the occupation of Donetsk, highlights his collaboration with the occupiers, spreads false information regarding the shelling of the temporarily occupied territory by soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and calls Ukrainian soldiers enemies and criminals.
In February 2023, Agranovych published a film he shot 'Documentary Film 'Donbass' Recognized as a Story about How Donbass Returns Home. To Russia'. In this film, the Security Service of Ukraine noted, Agranovych creates an image of the legality of the occupation of part of Donetsk region and affirmed that occupation.
Let us remind you, the film 'Anora' directed by Sean Baker, featuring the Russian Yuri Borisov, who remains silent about the war, won one of the biggest film awards - Oscar-2025. The film won in categories 'Best Original Screenplay', 'Best Editing', 'Best Director', 'Best Film'.
