Russia attacked Kryvyi Rih: number of dead and injured has increased (updated).


Today, January 17, Russia launched an attack on Kryvyi Rih. As a result of the enemy strike, an educational institution and residential buildings were damaged, and there are dead and injured. This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Serhiy Lysak.

As a result of the Russian attack in Kryvyi Rih, four people were killed, and five were injured. This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Serhiy Lysak.
Two five-story buildings were damaged in Kryvyi Rih. A fire broke out in one of them. A building that was not in use was also affected. Examination of the damaged area is still ongoing, the report states.
Lysak notes that three of the injured are in serious condition: 'This is a 22-year-old girl and men aged 34 and 56. All three are in serious condition. Doctors are providing the necessary assistance.'
Another two injured received medical assistance on the spot.

The head of the Defense Council of Kryvyi Rih Oleksandr Vilkul reported that as a result of the Russian strike in Kryvyi Rih, three people were injured.
It is reminded that a person who was injured during the shelling of Zaporizhzhia on January 8 died in the hospital. Thus, the number of dead has increased to 14 people. This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration Ivan Fedorov.
Unlike the previous incident at night, on January 17, Russia launched an attack in the Izmail district using strike drones. The Russians targeted important infrastructure.
