The National Security and Defense Council imposed 'lifetime' sanctions against Poroshenko: who else is on the list.


Sanctions imposed against Poroshenko and other individuals
On February 12, the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) made a decision to impose sanctions against Petro Poroshenko, a deputy and former president of Ukraine.
According to the published decree of the president of Ukraine, the sanctions against Poroshenko will be in effect 'indefinitely', that is, forever.
In turn, Poroshenko reacted to the NSDC’s decision on his Facebook, noting that it did not come as a surprise to him.
According to the document, the following sanctions were applied against Poroshenko:
- deprivation of state awards and other forms of recognition;
- blocking of assets;
- restriction of trade operations;
- restriction of the transit of resources, flights, and transportation across Ukraine;
- prevention of capital withdrawal from Ukraine;
- suspension of economic and financial obligations;
- prohibition of participation in privatization, lease of state property;
- prohibition of using the radio frequency spectrum of Ukraine;
- restriction or cessation of electronic communication services;
- prohibition of public and defense procurement;
- prohibition of foreign non-military vessels and military ships in the territorial waters of Ukraine;
- prohibition of increasing the size of the authorized capital of economic societies;
- introduction of additional measures in the field of ecological, sanitary, phytosanitary, and veterinary control;
- termination of trade agreements, joint projects, and industrial programs;
- prohibition of the transfer of technologies and rights to intellectual property;
- prohibition of acquiring ownership of land plots;
- other sanctions that comply with the principles of their application.
In addition, the NSDC also imposed sanctions against Igor Kolomoisky, Gennady Bogolyubov, Konstantin Zhevago, and Viktor Medvedchuk.
President Zelensky also spoke about his meeting with Trump, new sanctions, and plans to reduce drug prices.
