The decision on gas tariffs has been made: what to expect for Ukrainians from September 1.

The government will extend the PSO on gas for heat producers
The head of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, Herman Galushchenko, announced that the government plans to extend the PSO on gas for heat producers, which expires on August 31. He stated this during the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine.
Gas tariffs are one of the main problems for Ukrainians, along with increasing utility bills. Galushchenko confirmed that the special obligations to supply gas to heat energy producers will continue until the end of the 2024/2025 heating season, which means that gas tariffs will remain unchanged.
The minister also noted that the ministry, together with the NKREKU, is working on establishing an economically viable price for gas for gas-piston and gas-turbine installations to reduce the current gas prices.
Ukrainians who are concerned about the increase in gas tariffs were offered advice on energy efficiency and preparation for possible outages.
