Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Russia is preparing for the prolongation of the military conflict and is increasing the number of its army by more than 100 thousand soldiers. He also emphasized that it is necessary to strengthen the defense in European countries and allocate 5% of GDP for this purpose.

«This means one simple thing: Putin is preparing not for negotiations or the onset of peace, but for the continuation of the war, not only against us but also against Ukraine», - said Zelensky.

The president also noted that the Kursk operation plays an important role in the negotiation process, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to control the situation in the region.

It is worth reminding that US President Donald Trump expressed his readiness to meet with Zelensky in Washington.

«I will probably meet with President Zelensky next week», - said Trump.

The Ukrainian embassy is also preparing for meetings between the teams of Zelensky and Trump. The presentation of the conflict resolution plan in Ukraine during the Munich Security Conference was not presented, but Keith Kellogg, the special representative of the US president on Ukraine, noted that he would continue to work on it.
