Supporter of the war Sadulaev denied a visa - he will miss the European Wrestling Championships.

Ukrainian Olympic wrestling champion Abdulrashid Sadulaev has not received a visa to participate in the European Championships, which will be held in Bratislava. This was reported by the head coach of the Russian freestyle wrestling team Khadzhimurad Gatsalov.
The wrestling competitions will take place in Bratislava from April 7 to 13. Sadulaev, a two-Time Olympic champion and multiple world and European champion, will not be able to compete.
This is not the first time Sadulaev has not received a visa. In February 2024, he was also not allowed to participate in the European Championships due to the same issues.
Additionally, Sadulaev was invited as an honorary guest to a propaganda event related to freestyle wrestling and participated in a rally supporting the war in Moscow.
Alexander Rabotnitsky, a Paralympic Games medalist and honored master of sports of Russia in athletics, was killed in the war. Friends and colleagues of Rabotnitsky are surprised that he participated in combat actions, as he had serious health problems, including organic brain damage. Rabotnitsky also faced issues with housing and gaming addiction, and after his career ended, he encountered these problems.
Rabotnitsky was among the silver medalists at the 2021 Tokyo Paralympic Games and was also a champion and medalist at world and European championships in athletics.
