President of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda believes that the UN Security Council needs reforms due to Russia's war against Ukraine.
Nausėda emphasizes that the lack of response to Russia's aggression "undermines trust in the UN in matters of maintaining global peace and security."
On the line"It is clear that serious reforms of the Security Council are needed. The UN must have the authority to stop and restrain aggressors," he said.
Nausėda highlights the necessity for countries to return to supporting Ukraine based on international law and order.
The President of Lithuania also called on the international community to do more to limit Russia in its "colonial war."
