Poland will change employment rules from 2025: it will also affect Ukrainians.

Poland has introduced a draft of a new law that will regulate the employment of foreigners in the country. According to this law, starting from January 1, migrants will only be able to work officially under an employment contract, which will limit alternative methods of employment. The proposed law includes an exhaustive list of grounds for legal employment but prohibits the use of civil-law contracts. There are exceptions for athletes, artists, and trainers. The goal of this decision is to organize migration processes and control labor relations with foreigners. Experts welcome these changes as they will create a more transparent and regulated employment system. However, this may also complicate the integration of foreigners into the Polish labor market.
