Poland has become the first country in the European Union to create a Defense and Security Fund. This was announced by Finance and Regional Policy Minister Katarzyna Pelczynska-Nalecz.
Officially: Poland is the first in Europe to create a Defense and Security Fund as part of the National Recovery Plan. We are investing billions in shelters, dual-use infrastructure and the development of Polish defense companies
The total amount of the Defense and Security Fund will be 7.8 billion dollars.
We will also develop our industry and research in the field of new technologies. We are starting negotiations with the European Commission
According to the minister, the investment plan will be developed within two months in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense and other agencies.
