The Slovak Electricity Transmission System Operator - SEPS has refused to stop exporting electricity to Ukraine, despite threats from Prime Minister Robert Fico. This was reported in an interview with the Czech news agency CTK by representatives of SEPS.
SEPS stated that it will not cease electricity supply to Ukraine and will adhere to contracts established with 'Ukrenergo'.
Earlier, Fico announced that the government is considering measures in response to Ukraine's suspension of Russian gas transit, including the possibility of stopping electricity exports to Ukraine and reducing assistance to Ukrainian refugees in Slovakia.
