During the criminal investigation, a US citizen suspected of collaborating with the DPRK was detained, as well as more than six individuals in Taiwan and China.

According to the agency, this scheme has resulted in significant profits for North Korea, estimated in millions of dollars. The victims included not only intelligence technologies and Fortune 500 companies but also accounts, websites, and laptops used in this process.
