Pension inequality: how payouts differ for deputies and ordinary Ukrainians.

Ukrainian members of parliament receive pensions under the same conditions as other citizens.
According to data from OBOZ.UA, most retiree-parliamentarians receive about 20,000 hryvnias per month, but there are exceptions.
The highest pension among deputies is received by Vasyl Nimchenko from the "Opposition Bloc" - 186.9 thousand hryvnias monthly.
This is related to his previous status as a Constitutional Court judge, which ensures lifelong maintenance.
Other parliamentarians have much smaller pension payouts. For example, Oleksandr Feldman receives a pension of 16.5 thousand hryvnias with a salary of 36.8 thousand hryvnias. Anton Kisse declares a pension of 15.1 thousand hryvnias with a monthly income of 55.9 thousand hryvnias from the Verkhovna Rada.
Sergiy Magerya's pension is 18 thousand hryvnias with a salary of 53.4 thousand hryvnias per month. Sergiy Larin receives a pension of 20.4 thousand hryvnias.
As of early 2024, the average pension in Ukraine is 5,816 hryvnias, which increased over three months by 73 hryvnias. Pensions have increased by 45.7% since the start of the full-scale war - from 3,991 to 5,816 hryvnias, which exceeded the inflation rate (35.5%).
Meanwhile, the subsistence minimum for adults is 9,170.4 hryvnias. For children under 6 years, this figure is 6,341.21 hryvnias, and for children over 6 years - 7,925.62 hryvnias.
Also, a historic pension equalization has been announced in Ukraine.
