Vegetable Prices Continue to Rise: What is Happening with Potato, Cabbage, and Onion Prices in Mid-January.


Prices for Basic Vegetables in Mid-January
According to the Minfin portal, supermarkets report changes in prices for basic vegetables in Ukraine in mid-January 2025.
According to price monitoring in major retail chains, regular potatoes have risen in price from 32.57 UAH to 34.70 UAH per kilogram. Young potatoes have also increased in price from 42.07 to 44.90 UAH per kilogram.
White cabbage showed the most significant increase - the average price rose from 39.20 to 45.69 UAH per kilogram. Young cabbage increased slightly - from 69.93 to 73.60 UAH per kilogram.
The only vegetable that showed a price decrease was bulb onions - the price dropped from 17.70 to 16.12 UAH per kilogram. Blue onions, on the contrary, increased in price from 30.43 to 34.90 UAH per kilogram.
