Ukrainian Drones Attacked Smolensk Region
On the night of September 15, drones attacked the Smolensk region in Russia. Governor Vasily Anokhin claimed that supposedly air defense systems shot down two drones over the region.
«Today, air defense forces worked over the Roslavl and Smolensk districts to repel an attack by two Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties or destructions as a result of the falling debris», the statement reads.

At the same Time, Russian public channels are publishing videos of the fire in the Smolensk region after the drone attack.
The Russian Ministry of Defense also claimed to have supposedly shot down 29 unmanned aerial vehicles:
- 15 over the Bryansk region;
- five – over the Kursk region;
- four – over the Smolensk region;
- two – over the Oryol region;
- one each – over the territories of Belgorod, Kaluga, and Rostov regions.
Recall that earlier in Russia a large fire broke out at the «Plastic» factory in the Tula region. This was reported by Russian media. The area of the fire was about 1500 square meters.
In August, a powerful fire started in Moscow. A two-story administrative building caught fire in the west of the Russian capital.
