The Ministry of Internal Affairs has announced that the Diia app will include a feature for obtaining and extending permits for weapon possession. This was reported by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Bohdan Drapiatyi.
He reminded that since June 2023, the Unified Weapon Register and the electronic cabinet for weapon owners have been in operation, which has simplified the process of submitting documents for obtaining or extending permits for citizens.
Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted a survey among users of the electronic cabinet and found that citizens want to see maps of shooting ranges and shooting grounds, repair shops for weapons, and weapon stores on the site.
'There is a high demand for the digitization of services, and this is a priority for the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as defined by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Ihor Klymenko,' said Bohdan Drapiatyi.
