International pensions: Ukrainians need to submit an important document to the Pension Fund.

Ukrainians need to provide the Pension Fund of Ukraine with a document confirming they are alive in order to receive international pensions
The press service of the Pension Fund reported that some Ukrainians need to provide an important document by the end of 2024 to continue receiving pension payments. Ukraine has signed agreements with several countries to pay pensions to citizens who have moved to live abroad permanently. This means that each contracting state assigns and pays pensions based on the insurance experience earned on its territory. Pension payments are made to the bank accounts of retirees or through the competent authority of the contracting state. Furthermore, retirees need to send a completed and officially certified document 'Confirmation of the fact that the person is alive' to the Pension Fund every year.
Sample applications for confirming a person's alive status can be found on the information page of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
