The Ministry of Defense Announced the Hackathon 'Machine Offensive 2.0'.


The Ministry of Defense announced the holding of a hackathon called "Machine Offensive 2.0." This event aims to unite developers and experts in the fields of electronic warfare, air defense, anti-drone systems, and fiber optic technologies. According to Deputy Minister of Defense Kateryna Chernogorenko, the hackathon will help create the latest technological solutions to counter enemy tools and strengthen the country's defense.
The hackathon "Machine Offensive 2.0" will have two challenges. The first challenge involves countering guided aerial bombs that the enemy uses for destructive strikes from long distances. The second challenge concerns countering drones controlled through fiber optic communication.
Registration for participation in the hackathon will continue until November 8. After registration, participants will receive information about the challenge details.
This is already the second "Machine Offensive" hackathon organized by the Ministry of Defense. The first event was announced in January with the aim of developing advanced technologies for unmanned systems.
It is also worth noting that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has released a new Safari HG-105M rifle, which can be used against enemy FPV drones.
