Ukraine imported more than 50 thousand passenger electric cars
From January to October 2024, Ukraine imported 50,225 passenger electric vehicles (BEV). The total customs value of these cars was almost $1.1 billion, reports 'Ukravtoprom'.
Of this number, 13,684 vehicles were new with a total customs value of $368 million, while 36,541 were used with a customs value of $730 million.
Top-5 suppliers of new electric vehicles:
China - 12,024 units.
Japan - 526 units.
Germany - 362 units.
United Kingdom - 269 units.
Belgium - 216 units.
Top-5 suppliers of used electric vehicles:
USA - 13,808 units.
Germany - 5,847 units.
Korea - 4,815 units.
United Kingdom - 3,497 units.
China - 2,288 units.
China continues to lead in the supply of new electric vehicles, while the USA maintains its lead in the supply of used vehicles.
