US President Donald Trump has made astonishing geopolitical moves, but this helps French leader Emmanuel Macron return to the spotlight.

After losing the majority in parliament last year, Macron focused on resolving domestic issues. But now, ahead of a meeting with European Union leaders at the summit in Brussels, Macron may gather allies ready to support Ukraine.

However, this could also lead to a conflict with Trump.

Trump proposes a ceasefire to establish new business and political cooperation with Russia. For his part, Putin demands the cessation of arms supplies to Ukraine. This means that Macron would abandon efforts to support Kyiv.

Another representative of a European country assures that European nations will not agree to Putin's demands.

The spokesperson for the French government states that these demands are 'unrealistic', and Macron talks daily with Trump and Ukrainian President Zelensky to find solutions.

Macron has gathered the heads of military departments from many countries and defense ministers from major European military powers, as well as a group of European leaders. He is assembling 37 countries that are preparing military assistance following the ceasefire.

A political expert believes that Macron has returned to the global stage.

Macron believes that Trump values personal connections. He notes that if the right argument is found, Trump may listen to him.
