Kellogg made a statement on the end of the war.

Trump's special representative calls for a complete ceasefire for 30 days
The special representative of the US President in Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, expressed the opinion that a complete ceasefire for 30 days could mark the beginning of the end of the war between Russia and Ukraine. He noted that such a step could open the door to peace negotiations.
“A comprehensive ceasefire for 30 days will initiate the process of ending the largest and longest war in Europe since World War II,” Kellogg said.
Kellogg also noted that US President Donald Trump has repeatedly called for an immediate cessation of violence. His statement was a response to information from Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha regarding the country's and its allies' readiness for a ceasefire for 30 days.
Reaction to the call for peace
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the country's readiness for a 30-day ceasefire starting from May 12. If Russia does not support this step, Ukraine may face new sanctions.
It should be noted that implementing a complete ceasefire could be an important step towards a peaceful resolution of the conflict.
