The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine under Poroshenko won a larger pension from the state.

The Main Directorate of the Pension Fund in Kyiv must recalculate the pension of the General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and former Chief of the General Staff - Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko. This decision was made by the Kyiv District Administrative Court. It granted Muzhenko's lawsuit against the Pension Fund for recalculating his pension from February 1 of this year. The capital's Pension Fund refused to pay Muzhenko's pension according to legal requirements. The court recognized this refusal as a violation of the pensioner's rights.
According to the court's decision, Muzhenko must receive a pension according to the law on pension provision for persons released from military service. After he submitted an updated certificate of the amount of monetary support, the Pension Fund was supposed to recalculate the pension. But the agency refused to do so, which violated Muzhenko's rights.
The court also obliged the capital's Pension Fund to pay Muzhenko 1,200 UAH as paid court fees.
This is not the first Time Muzhenko has sued the Pension Fund. He had previously achieved the accrual and payment of monetary compensation for unused additional leave as a combatant. The court also previously recognized the actions of the Pension Fund regarding the limitation of Muzhenko's pension amount as unlawful. The corresponding restriction was revoked by the court.
Viktor Muzhenko was the Chief of the General Staff and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from 2014 to 2019, during the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
