French Salad with Carrots - A hearty and quick recipe.


This salad combines the tenderness of eggs, juicy apple, and aromatic carrots, all layers dressed with mayonnaise, making it a light yet filling snack. Melted cheese adds a creamy texture, while the tartness of the apple harmonizes with the flavor of the vegetables.

You will need:
- carrots - 140 g;
- processed cheese - 160 g;
- eggs - 3 pcs;
- hard cheese - 40 g;
- sour apple - 1 pc;
- mayonnaise - 100 g;
- garlic - 1 clove.
Preparation method
Boil the eggs hard in advance, and place the processed cheeses in the freezer for 30 minutes. This will make them easier to shred. Peel the apple and prepare all the ingredients.
Grate the carrots on a fine grater, add the minced garlic and a spoon of mayonnaise. Mix well.
Assemble the salad: grate a third of the cooled cheeses on a plate and make a thin grid with mayonnaise. Also, grate the egg whites and place them over the cheese. Add a layer of carrots and a bit more mayonnaise.
Grate the apple on a coarse grater and place it as the next layer. Repeat the layers in reverse order: carrots, egg whites, and the remaining cheeses, smearing a thin grid of mayonnaise between each layer.
Grate the hard cheese and sprinkle it with the yolks. Serve the salad immediately or let it rest in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes.
