Facebook pages of Ukrainians are being mass stolen: how to protect yourself from fraudsters.

Facebook users in Ukraine have once again become targets of fraud. The press service of the State Special Communication Service reported that fraudsters are using phishing emails to steal personal data.

Fraudsters send emails pretending to be official Facebook support, warning of possible account blocking due to rule violations. To prevent this, they try to convince people to visit a fake website and enter their confidential information.

The website asks for email, phone number, password, and two-factor verification code. After this, the fraudsters gain access to someone else's account.

It is recommended to avoid entering personal data on suspicious websites, check the addresses of pages before entering, and verify the authenticity of messages from Meta in account settings.

• Avoid providing your account details on dubious resources.
• Check the website address and the availability of a secure connection.

Recently, fraudsters also posed as the National Bank of Ukraine.
