Khuchev demands to ban the teaching of the theory of evolution in Russian schools
Muslim Khuchev, former Prime Minister of Chechnya and aide to the head of the government, demands to ban the teaching of Charles Darwin's theory of evolution in Russian schools. He has approached the Minister of Education of Russia with this proposal. Khuchev believes that Darwin's theory is erroneous and contradicts the religious upbringing of children.
Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov has not yet responded to this proposal.
Students of Russian schools will study the "special military operation in Ukraine"
Senior students of Russian schools will be taught about the "special military operation in Ukraine" in history classes. According to an order from the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, this has become a requirement for the results of mastering the educational program. This is reported by Russian media. Earlier, the pro-Russian authorities removed Ukrainian-language literature from schools in the occupied Ukrainian territories.
