The Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine has announced that a new registration system for queues for empty trucks weighing over 7.5 tons has been introduced in order to reduce border crossing Time.
Queue registration will be available at five of the largest crossing points, the ministry reported.
'Thus, registration for trucks that are transporting goods and are going empty will be carried out in different queues. This decision will contribute to the predictable border crossing time for vehicles with cargo,' the ministry reported.
The eQueue system will be available at the following crossing points:
- Uzhhorod - Vyshne Nemetske (Slovakia), March 11, 12:00;
- Krakivets - Korchowa (Poland), March 18, 12:00;
- Shehini - Medyka (Poland), March 18, 12:00;
- Rava-Ruska - Hrebienne (Poland), March 18, 12:00;
- Chop - Zakhon (Hungary), March 25, 12:00.
'It is important that trucks transporting goods with special storage conditions and picking up cargo shortly before crossing the border must register in the queue for loaded ones. Then the eQueue will check the cargo code and the queue will be saved,' the ministry noted.
We remind you that from March 11 and until the end of March, the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development expanded the eQueue system for border crossing to all licensed freight vehicles, including those weighing from 3.5 tons.
