Representatives of ZUS informed Ukrainians living in Poland about when they will be able to receive assistance 'Dobry start'. This assistance is intended for families with school-aged children and amounts to 300 zlotys. It is paid out once a year.
Applications for assistance submitted after November 1 of this year will only be considered in January 2025, ZUS reports. The 'Dobry start' program is a one-Time assistance of 300 zlotys (3 thousand hryvnias), which is paid for each child who starts the school year, the message states.

Children up to 20 years old and disabled students up to 24 years old can take advantage of this right. Applications for assistance can be submitted until November 30, 2024.
To do this, you need to:
- Provide personal data and child data (date of birth, PESEL number or PESEL ukr, citizenship)
- Provide the place of residence and the address of the school where the child studies
- ZUS may require a certificate of school attendance.
Also, documents confirming status (for example, disability certificate) are required. The application should be submitted electronically via the eZUS platform, mZUS application, online banking, or the Emp@tia portal.
