Ukrainians were told which government positions receive the highest salaries.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the average salary in Ukraine is gradually approaching 20,000 hryvnias, and many employers plan to increase it in the coming years. Do officials' salaries correspond to the country's economic realities?
The Ministry of Finance reports that the salary levels in various government agencies vary significantly.
in the High Qualification Commission of Judges – 239.2 thousand hryvnias;
in the High Council of Justice – 236 thousand hryvnias;
in the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine – 238.3 thousand hryvnias;
in the Supreme Court – 231.4 thousand hryvnias;
in the Secretariat of the National Trilateral Social and Economic Council – 226.1 thousand hryvnias;
in the Central Election Commission – 224.2 thousand hryvnias;
in the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Utilities (NCSREU) – 179.9 thousand hryvnias;
in the National Agency for Corruption Prevention – 176.6 thousand hryvnias.
Employees of lower ranks and general specialists receive salaries ranging from 50 to 120 thousand hryvnias.
For example, the head of a structural unit in the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Utilities, on average, received 129 thousand hryvnias. In the Ministry of Finance – 105.3 thousand hryvnias, in the Ministry of Digital Transformation – 102.9 thousand hryvnias, in the High Council of Justice – 96.5 thousand hryvnias, in the Supreme Court – 81.9 thousand hryvnias.
A general specialist in the National Commission receives 81.2 thousand hryvnias, in the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) – 77.7 thousand hryvnias, in the Ministry of Digital Transformation – 57.9 thousand hryvnias.
Employees of the patronage service received the following salaries:
in the Apparatus of the Verkhovna Rada – 91.9 thousand hryvnias;
in the Ministry of Energy – 89.4 thousand hryvnias;
in the Secretariat of the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights – 87.6 thousand hryvnias;
in the High Anti-Corruption Court – 79.4 thousand hryvnias.
Service personnel in the State Environmental Inspectorate receive 92 thousand hryvnias, in the High Anti-Corruption Court – 60.7 thousand hryvnias, in the High Council of Justice – 52.6 thousand hryvnias, in the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine – 55.7 thousand hryvnias.
Different government bodies have different salary levels, and the average salary in Ukraine is gradually increasing.
