Dozens of Ukrainian soldiers desert during training in France – France24.

Among the Ukrainian soldiers who were undergoing training in France, several dozen deserted. However, this phenomenon was not widespread.
According to a representative of the French army, there was a small number of deserters among the Ukrainians considering the total number of trained individuals.
An officer told journalists that the Ukrainian soldiers training in France adhered to the discipline established by the Ukrainian command.
In France, there is no criminal liability for desertion. It is only disciplinary jurisdiction that we grant to the Ukrainian command on our territory.
The French army trained 2,300 soldiers from the 'Anna Kyivskaya' brigade, most of whom were conscripts without experience. The training was also accompanied by 300 Ukrainian monitors.
The State Bureau of Investigation (DBR) is investigating instances of desertion among Ukrainian soldiers, but there are no preliminary results of the investigation yet.
The last brigade of the Ukrainian army, the 155th mechanized brigade, trained in Poland and France for three months. This brigade is one of the strongest and best-armed among the newly created brigades.
However, for full combat deployment, the brigade lacks essential equipment, including drones.
