SBU fighters destroyed over 5,500 units of enemy equipment

Over the course of three years, from February 2022 to March 2025, the fighters of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) destroyed over 5,500 enemy equipment units. This was reported by the agency's press service.

This amount includes the liquidation of over 1,700 Russian tanks, over 3,000 armored fighting vehicles (AFVs), nearly 250 air defense systems, over 550 electronic warfare systems, and hundreds of other enemy equipment.

In the last three years, the SBU has also carried out several unique special operations that had a significant impact on the course of the war. Among them is the explosion of the Crimean Bridge in October 2022 using a truck with explosives and the explosion in July 2023 using surface drones Sea baby. Additionally, 11 Russian military ships were damaged in the Black Sea, and control over the waters was established to ensure the grain corridor.

The SBU regularly conducts 'deep strikes' into Russia, dealing heavy blows to the military-industrial complex (MIC). These strikes cost Russia billions of dollars. The SBU also attacks military airfields, arms depots, oil bases, and factories involved in producing drones and guided aviation bombs (GABs).

SBU employees set a record by capturing over 100 Russian servicemen in the Kursk region. A world record was also established for the distance of a sniper shot - 3,800 meters.

The main task of the SBU is to eliminate as many enemies as possible and liberate its territory. The head of the agency, Vasyl Maliuk, emphasized that the Ukrainian people have a genetic memory of previous victories and a desire for revenge for fallen fighters, as well as to create a lifelong vaccine 'against Moskal' for future generations.

Every March 25, the Security Service of Ukraine celebrates its professional holiday. On this day, Ukrainians honor the courage and heroism of SBU employees who fight for freedom, independence, and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
