Prices are rising: inflation accelerated in Ukraine in November.


According to the State Statistics Service, inflation in Ukraine reached 11.2% year-on-year in November 2024, accelerating compared to the October figure of 9.7%.
On the consumer market, compared to October 2024, inflation in November was 1.9%, and since the beginning of the year - 10.4%.
The growth of core inflation in November 2024 amounted to 1.2% compared to October of the same year, and since the beginning of the year - 9.3%.
In November, prices for food products and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 3.9%, with the largest increase in egg prices (by 54.6%).
Prices for vegetables, milk and dairy products, butter, sunflower oil, processed grain products, bread, non-alcoholic beverages, pasta, fish, and fish products increased by 13.7% - 1.5%.
In contrast, prices for fruits and sugar decreased by 1.5% and 1.3% respectively.
Prices for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products increased by 1.3%, due to an increase in tobacco product prices by 2.0%.
Clothing and footwear became cheaper by 2.2%, with footwear decreasing by 2.7% and clothing by 1.7%.
The increase in prices in the healthcare sector by 0.6% was mainly due to a rise in outpatient service prices by 1.0%.
On average, over the previous month, prices for food products and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 3.2%.
