Will there be power outages on September 22: forecast of 'Ukrenergo'.

According to the press service of «Ukrenergo», today, September 22, no measures to limit electricity are planned.
Information about possible changes in the situation will be provided additionally if it arises.
At the moment, it is impossible to determine how Ukrainians will provide heating in winter. The state is preparing for possible attacks from Russia and protecting energy facilities with the first and second levels of defense.
As a result of the cancellation of the hourly outage schedules from September 9, electricity consumption in Ukraine has increased.
The State Agency for Reconstruction and Development of Infrastructure has begun construction of the third level of passive protection at the substations of NEC «Ukrenergo». However, international partners do not consider it appropriate to finance such an expensive project without testing this technology.
The European Commission is also working to increase the maximum supply of electricity to Ukraine.
According to the former head of «Ukrenergo» Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, Ukrainian energy facilities will have three levels of protection in the form of engineering fortifications in case of Russian attacks.
