The 'Luhansk' command has reported that the activity of the Russian occupation forces in the region has increased. According to the spokesperson for the command, Dmytro Zaporizhets, the enemy is showing activity in the Toretsk direction.
'The enemy is intensifying not only in assault actions but also in the use of artillery and tactical aviation against Kostiantynivka. Slovyansk, Kramatorsk, and Druzhkivka are suffering,' Zaporizhets reported.
According to intelligence data, units of the 150th motorized rifle division from the Kurakhiv direction and separate units from Pokrovsk are located in the Toretsk direction.
'The most assaults are occurring specifically in Toretsk. The enemy is actively accumulating forces in the Chasiv Yar and Kramatorsk directions with the aim of capturing the city by March 1. The last major assault using equipment took place on March 6, and now the enemy is preparing for an assault again, and artillery shelling is increasing,' Zaporizhets noted.
In the Siversky direction, a significant number of personnel and equipment are being used.
'In the Siversky direction, a lot of personnel is usually involved in assault actions. For example, yesterday, 21 units of armored vehicles, 24 infantry fighting vehicles, 3 tanks, light automotive equipment, and ATVs were involved. More equipment is used there, and the tactics are more mass-oriented,' the military reported.
