Unemployed man in police uniform 'joked' at the gas station. Court imposed strict punishment.

A disabled person of the III group, who is unemployed, was fined 34 thousand hryvnias for the illegal use of the National Police uniform. The incident occurred on January 24, 2025, at the UPG gas station in Kamianets-Podilskyi. The man attempted to avoid court, claiming that it was just a joke and he did not intend to stop other citizens. However, the court stated that there are video recordings showing the man dressed in a police uniform.
The court also warned that if the unlawful individual does not pay the fine voluntarily, he faces forced recovery in double the amount. The man has 10 days to file an appeal against the court's decision. Earlier, a parking inspector also received a fine for the illegal use of police attributes, which MP Ihor Marchuk is ready to pay.
