Belgium cancels all flights on February 13.

On Thursday, February 13, all commercial flights to and from Belgium will be canceled due to a strike by air traffic controllers. The strike is a protest against the new government. The ACV Transcom union announced that air traffic controllers will also protest in solidarity with other workers affected by new cuts in public service spending. The strike will start at 6:45 and last until 22:15, halting air traffic in Belgian airports in Brussels, Charleroi, Liège, Antwerp, and Ostend.
Earlier in January, a national strike took place in Belgium, involving teachers, transport workers, railway workers, airport staff, and other categories of workers. The protests were aimed against the new public service spending cuts plan, including pension reform.
