The United States is transferring nearly 90 Patriot missiles from Israel to Ukraine via Poland. According to Axios, the interceptor missiles were delivered to Poland for further transfer to Ukraine. This decision was made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who assessed the situation after delays due to concerns about Russia's reaction. It is also worth noting that the Israeli Air Force decommissioned the Patriot system in 2019. US military aircraft arrived at the airbase in Israel and flew to Rzeszów in Poland, from where the missiles will be transferred to Ukraine. Prior to this, Israel informed Russia of its actions, stating that it was 'merely returning the Patriot system to the US.'
