Automatic Military Registration — How to Correct Data Errors.

Ukrainian citizens can now automatically register for military service. This process is carried out through the interaction of the 'Oberih' registry with the State Migration Service, without the need to visit territorial recruitment centers and military commissariats.

What are the advantages of automatic registration

Thanks to automatic registration: conscripts can register without spending Time on queues, paperwork, and passing the military medical commission; employees of territorial recruitment centers and military commissariats are less overloaded, so they can focus more on mobilization issues; it has become possible to register Ukrainians who are abroad and unblock their passport issuance; Ukrainians aged 17 to 25 can be registered.

What errors may occur during registration

Sometimes, individuals who were previously removed from the registry end up back on it, or those who are already registered but do not have a mark in the registry. The causes of such errors are the large volume of mobilization work and human factors. For instance, an operator of the territorial recruitment center and military commissariat may forget to enter the person's identifier into the registry.

To correct such errors, it is necessary to contact the territorial recruitment center and military commissariat with documents confirming removal or deregistration, or to prove one's affiliation to another military commissariat.
