Zaporizhzhia region declared a day of mourning due to Russian airstrikes
On January 8, as a result of Russian airstrikes in the Zaporizhzhia region, 13 civilians were killed. For this reason, January 9 will be declared a day of mourning. Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia OVA, reported this.
«For the third Time in the last month, a day of mourning will be declared in the Zaporizhzhia region due to enemy attacks,» the statement reads.
Fedorov also reported that after the attack, at least 80 people sought medical help.
It is reminded that Russian occupiers attacked the industrial infrastructure of Zaporizhzhia, resulting in at least 13 civilians killed and many injured.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the Russian occupiers' airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia and stated that it is a deliberate terror of the Russian Federation against peaceful Ukrainians.
Kremlin propagandists have already responded to the Russian airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia, where 13 people were killed and 18 were injured. Russia, as always, found a justification, blaming everything on «the air defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine».
