Ukraine's GDP Grew by 4.2% in 10 Months - Ministry of Economy.

The Ministry of Economy reported that in the first ten months of 2024, Ukraine's gross domestic product increased by 4.2% compared to the same period last year.
'In 10 months, the Ukrainian economy has grown by 4.2%. Transport, construction, and the processing industry are the main factors driving this growth,' emphasized Oleksiy Sobolev, the First Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine.
Thanks to recovery programs and increased demand for construction work, the construction sector continues to show positive dynamics, the ministry's representative reports.
The transport sector also contributes to growth, especially due to the stable operation of the grain corridor. Demand for products in the processing industry, particularly in the defense industry, also supports development in this area.
According to the Ministry of Economy, in October, Ukraine's economy grew by 1.3% compared to the same period last year. Transport, the processing industry, and construction continue to be the main growth factors.
However, agriculture experienced a decline due to the early harvest this year - by October, farmers had already finished harvesting certain agricultural crops.
